Subscription Terms

Professional membership

Professional membership is supplied by BenChecked LLC. Personal accounts are free. Standard professional plans are $9.99 USD per month or $99.99 USD per year, plus any applicable taxes disclosed at checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe. Current checkout is in sandbox mode and do not charge real money.

Recurring billing

For a paid recurring plan, you authorize the amount and billing interval shown at checkout. The subscription renews automatically each month or year until canceled. Any promotion, free period, and first paid billing date must be stated in the checkout offer before you agree. Creating a profile alone does not authorize a payment. We will provide advance notice of material price changes before they apply to a renewal.

Cancellation and billing help

You can request cancellation by emailing support@benchecked.com from your account email. Include the business name and ask to cancel renewal. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund a payment already made. Contact support promptly about mistaken or disputed charges and refund requests. Any statutory refund or cancellation rights remain available. A cancellation scheduled for the end of a paid period normally leaves access active until that period ends.

Inactive memberships

When membership is inactive because it expires, is canceled, or payment is unsuccessful, your business records are retained for your account to view, but the business is hidden from public discovery and business actions are paused. Existing messages remain visible to both parties, and sending messages in conversations involving the inactive business is disabled. Links to the inactive business show an inactive-account notice. Reactivation restores eligible features without requiring a new profile.

What membership does not guarantee

Membership does not guarantee customers, referral income, search placement, positive reviews, professional approval, or verification of qualifications. Ratings and reviews follow the same rules for every business. Your subscription buys access to platform features, not the professional services listed by another member.
